Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy applies to clash-android.com and all pages under its language subdirectories (referred to below as "this site"). This site is a static information site that introduces and distributes open-source Clash-family clients; it does not offer any account system and does not run user registration of any kind. By reading or continuing to use this site, you are considered to acknowledge the content of this policy.

1. Scope of Data Collection

This site consists of static HTML pages with no registration, login, comment, or subscription features, and it does not request or receive identifying information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers from visitors. Form-like interactions on pages (such as switching platforms or filtering categories) all happen locally in the browser and do not submit personal data to any server.

To understand page traffic and content popularity, this site uses a self-hosted analytics tool. The data collected is limited to: page paths visited, visit timestamps, browser type and operating system category, an approximate geographic region (inferred from network address, not precise to an individual), and anonymous interaction events on some pages (such as switching platform tabs on a download page). Analytics data is used in aggregate form to improve content organization and page structure. It is not used to identify specific individuals, is not linked to any identifying information, and is never sold or shared with third parties.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

Core page functionality on this site does not rely on cookies. The analytics tool may write a small session identifier in the browser to distinguish visit sessions; this identifier contains no personal identity data. Browser local storage mechanisms may be used only to remember interface preferences (such as the current language path); this data is kept on the visitor's own device and is never read back by this site's servers.

Visitors can clear cookies and local storage at any time through browser settings, or enable "Do Not Track"-type options in their browser. These actions do not affect normal browsing or downloading on this site.

3. Downloaded Files and External Links

The client installers listed on this site's download pages come from the public release channels of their respective open-source projects; some download buttons redirect through distribution nodes to external addresses. Once you click an external link (including app store pages or a client's official website), your activity there is governed by that site's own privacy terms, which this site has no control over and no responsibility for. It is advisable to review a destination site's privacy notice before entering any information there.

Installer files themselves are maintained by their respective client projects. This site does not bundle any additional components into installers, nor does it collect data through installers. For data handling behavior at runtime, refer to each project's own documentation and open-source code.

4. Data Security and Retention

This site's servers retain only the access logs and aggregate statistics needed for routine operation; logs are rotated and cleared on a regular operational cycle and are not archived long-term. Since this site does not hold any visitor identity information, there is no scenario for requesting deletion of "personal account data"; if you have concerns about analytics behavior, browser-level blocking or clearing is fully effective on its own.

5. How This Policy Is Updated

This policy may be revised as site features change or as regulatory requirements evolve. Revised text will be published directly on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top updated accordingly; major changes are not separately announced elsewhere. Long-term visitors are encouraged to check back on this page from time to time for the latest version. Continued use of this site indicates acceptance of the revised policy.

6. Questions and Feedback

This site does not maintain a public email contact channel. If you have questions about the data practices described in this policy, or run into issues related to page functionality, check the FAQs in the Help Center first, or refer to the Getting Started page for basic usage guidance; for privacy and security matters concerning the client software itself, defer to the official repository and documentation of the corresponding open-source project.
